October Funshine

I wanted to share this book it bring social studies to your learning  but preschool level

 working on our journal

  today kit (ok 30th but we on vacation ) Free creative art Jack-o- lantern

 This one has many teeth

 some cut some in 1/2  

 we had some left so we made our own free art

  For language and science (Funshine suggestion ) we explored pumpkins

Today we where given this disk to color

 Then they cut slits around edge  and sting the  yarn across .

 We also got a  pumpkin memory game with this month Curriculum

 I had one of the kids punch them out for me so we could play later . We also went over faces first to match up so they know what they where looking for.

Funshine has many idea in motor skills this month been talking about walking like a spider to the table

Our monthly journals

Each month has letters , numbers and shape we cover that month .

 Then extra pages like here draw something in the barn (this is a pig )

 today we also made spiders

The journals are a add on and cost 75cents to 1.50 each . we do  two page a week and can finish them each month . It is a great progress of work of the children . I Always keep first Journal we do and then send others  monthly  home and in May  send first and last home . Fun to see progress .

 I really love the way this is set up for daily .many extra idea games ,songs , science , math and list of story .

 we also did a bit of spiders this week as vacation next week . count how many legs do I have .

So Today we did letter E  (EGG)

Children work on fine motor skills , cutting and  gluing 

So Each month you get  Daily Basic  

 children can practice sounds , new words ,upper and lower case letters . sign for each letter . You can display them all month .

 Weather been so great we been so busy outside

This is a prefect tie into the fire Dept. yesterday that came for a visit . They talked about Exit (look for X) sign

Funshine has a creative art section each day and on this day has a suggested art and it was Exit sign . have the children tear paper to make the word exit . working on fine motor , self care and emergent writing skills  

Here part of starter kit and each month you get new letters , number ,shape and color to add to poster .

 We a bit behind as I did not start until October .
